Matt Workman is a cinematographer based in New York City. He primarily works in the commercial industry and has shot for clients: BMW, L’Oreal, Estee Lauder, and Bacardi to name a few. He is an early adopter of new technology and he is constantly evolving his workflow to incorporate new tools that allow for the creation of innovative imagery.

Matt’s background in 3D / Visual Effects give him a unique ability to guide a production from start to finish. In pre-production, Matt does his own previs work, where he creates the set/stage in 3D and then designs the camera angles/moves, blocking, and lighting. The entire production team benefits on set by using the technical drawings and animatics, generated from this process, as reference. Matt is also very involved in the grading of the final image and the digital lighting in post.
